"Power Scaling will let you play at that point you like when the amp is cranked, but at much lower loudness.

Note that you will lose the aural compression of your own hearing. To test what this means, set the amp up how you like to play, but in a very large space - outside is best. Walk away from the amp as you play and let your ears adjust to the reduced loudness far away from the amp. Nopw you are hearing what your audience would hear and that is the sound you will get when you dial down. "

I got this in reference to a product called a "power scailing" box that helps me crank a amp at lower volumes....what the hell is this guy talking? Sounds like some sort of inner trip...can anyone elaborate?

Actually the product is here http://www.londonpower.com/ anyone tried this product or have any experience or opinions?
WWSD? What would stevie do?
