Well I had to go and ship my B-52 AT100 head off today for repairs. The guy in Dallas told me to use UPS so I did. I hope they are good to my amp. I got it insured anyway 'cause I know they are careless. I hope it comes back to me in one piece and working properly. It was making a strange static noise from time to time and I just couldn't deal with it anymore. It's still under warranty at least. Say a prayer for my amp to stay safe. :)

May Joe Pesci bless the trip with a satisfactory ending.

 My new Fender Vibrolux has a slight crackling sound to it, luckily I have a warranty service center about 20 miles away. I thought to my self, "great I will drop it off and pick it up in a week". Uh huh 3 weeks as of today, and they still havent even got it on the bench................... FRUSTRATION

The guy in Dallas told me for 25 bucks your amp is garanteed to be on the bench within one week. 50 bucks will get you on the bench in one day. If you don't choose either of those two options, he says your amp will sit for three weeks before it sees a bench. I paid the 25.

I would of gladly paid that, or washed his car, or made him lunch but.... this place I took mine to is usually 1.5 wks behind on paying customers. I do know they are good at least. Still a bummer though.

Thanks LATS. I feel much better now.

The girl at the store was like "are you sure you want to ship this?"
and I said "I don't have a choice unless I want to drive for eight hours."
HA. In the back of my mind I was thinking "hell no i don't want to ship it, you better not break it fool."

The dude in Dallas assures me they use the package smashers for all their amp shipping needs. :(

Joe is the man...almost as man as THE CHUCK!

John Pattitucci is like the Joe Pesci of bass guitar...Yamaha should replace the John Pattitucci signiture model with a similar looking Joe Pesci model...that would be awesome

Joe Bless you all...and may the power of the Chuck take residence in your hearts!

He is isn't he? He does fit the look of a mobster, though he doesn't quite sound very intimidating. He can play well, though.

So the guy calls me up today and said they found the problem and fixed it already. The amps in the mail and on it's way home. Turns out is was a noisy circuit in the reverb section of the amp. I had to pay a 25 dollar Rush charge for them to get my amp fixed within a week and that's it. Well, I paid shipping one way too and that was 65 bucks. Ouch! Anyway, I'm super stoked and can't wait to get my amp back. May Pesci see it's good return home. :D

Whooooo Hoooooo! UPS just showed up with my amp about an hour ago. Been playing it since and it sounds So Fine! I played it for a while with my guitar plugged straight into the amp. Then I tried out the BOSS GT-8 plugged right into the front of the amp, WHOA---It's awesome!
