thanks... I've got some art work I'm working on and I need some heavy drapes and some other sound deadening material, but I'm pretty happy to have it to come home to. Just one of my many crazy ass projects.

Thanks Stackny. That's a sweet setup you got there Scott. One day I hope to have a room to myself like that. For now I'm stuck in the corner.

thanks man! Yeah, I saw one at my local Sam Ash for like $400, but it had a glass door on it. I made those for about $20 each. Now I gotta staple the wires down and put tape over it and paint it the same color as the wall so you can't see those ugly things hanging.

Scott, go to a hardware store (where they sell electrical stuff) and you can buy covers that are made to hide those cords. You can paint them to match your wall too.

Sweet ideas, I like your room!

Do you mean the raceways that are like the size of chewing gum packs, but longer? I've used those in the past and they end up looking pretty ugly. Maybe there's something new in the past few years that's come out, though. Thanks, I'll check it out.

I have yet to use them, just know they're available. If you're already familiar with them then I guess they might not be what you're looking for. Maybe they are available in wood?

Yeah, maybe. I'll check it out. I have at least a dozen reasons to go to the 'depot anyway. Thanks again for the tip.

dude, I understand that you love your guitar room, and it's a matter of personal taste, but the wall hangers... IMHO it's too much Hard Rock Cafe.

Cool plasma for you PC.
Power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat.

No offense taken at all, and I actually like the decor at the Hard Rock. I have a Hard Rock Casino less than 5 miles from my house that I frequent quite a bit. Maybe subconsciously I picked up some ideas... ;)

That is a sweet setup man...

I would put some pics up of me and my friends studio but I don't have any that were taken specifically to show the studio... Most of the pics I have just have girls hanging out in there... so you can't see much. I'll have to take some and put'em up. I painted the Dark Side of the Moon prism on one wall and a Jimi Hendrix mural on the other...

Our studio looks more like a traditional studio... except we do have couches, mini fridge, a record player, massive vinyl collection, along with all our gear... or most of our gear. I'm not a big fan of wall hangers either... I like my guitars to be laying around... it gives me that sense of "I'm a cool musician with lots of guitars laying around" haha. but nice setup.
