I use Seymore Duncans on my Gibson LP. An invader at the neck and a Dimebucker in the bridge. Works very well.

I've had a DiMarzio Dual Sound in the bridge pposition of my Yamaha SBG1000 since 1986. That's the 4-wire version of the Super Distortion. I love it. Very versatile. I sounds very full and rich clean, and gives great classic grind when cranked. With all 4 wires available, you can do series/parallel switching to give yourself the option of series coil connection (Super Distortion) or parallel coil connection (almost like a single-coil sound, but still humbucking). I recommend adding a phase switch as well for getting some cutting tones with the other pickup mixed in.
