Blue/Green Dots

I know this has been probably been asked many times, so I'm sorry, but why do some have blue dots by their names while others (myself included) boast a green dot. Is there a difference? Is my green dot good?

Green is online blue is offline and I've seen red once or twice which I don't know what that means.

BLUE = Offline


GREEN = Online


RED = Invisible Mode

Invisible mode allows you to browse the forums without appearing in the 'Currently Active Users' lists.

If you click on the Scales icon at the upper right of the post, you can add positive or negative points to that member's reputation. Defined numbers of points are assigned descriptions that can be read when you mouse-over that green square at the upper right side of the post.

For instance, when I mouse-over your indicator, I see:

"ericthecableguy has made some friends around here"

In theory, there could be things for seriously bad reputations, but I haven't seen any.
