What sites have you been looking at?

Les Pauls, SG's, Gretsch's, Yamaha Studio Lord, SG & SBG series, Tokai Love Rocks, all have mahogany bodies. Just to name a few.

A lot of mahogany-bodied guitars have a layer of maple on the front to make it look pretty, but the layer is too thin to have any significant effect on the tone. Mahogany is a very good tonewood.
