LSR Roller Nut

Has anyone heard of a LSR Roller Nut? It is made by Fender and is the same thing as the plastic piece at the end of the neck that aligns the strings before they enter the tuning heads. The only difference is that it is metal and uses ball bearings to supposedly provide smoother tuning and better string durability. They cost about 40 dollars american and must be self installed. Despite the fact that it will cause the price of the guitar to depreciate (Which doesn't bother me) are they as worth the hassle and cost?
