im looking to put a new humbucker pickup in the bridge of my ibanez grx40.i was wondering if anyone could tell me one good for metal,punk,rock & some really fast clean solos?any help is appreciated thanks

You should look into the B.C rich humbuckers or the ESP humbuckers.

Have a look at the different pickup models on the Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan websites. Looking at their specs, you should be able to find something you might like.

thnx guys.would a dimarzio humbucker from hell work good in the bridge?or would a evolution bridge be better?

Hmm, that's just a matter of personal preference I guess.
You never really know what you will end up with without trying em first (wich is usually not possible).
Personally, since I'm a bit of a Vai freak, I would go with the Evolution.
But again, noone can tell ya what's best for you.
