This isn't inspirational, rather the opposite, but it's incredibly touching.
"If you get close to her, kiss her once for me/
Have always respected her, in doing what she did in getting free/
Whatever makes her happy, I won't stand in her way/
Cause the bitter taste still lingers on from the night I tried to make herr stay", Dylan - If you see her, say hello
That last line is so full on, so real, and it is very autobiographical. It is one of the few songs (most of which are on blood on the tracjs) which are clearly about his divorce.
Another one, "I don't pretend to know what you want, but I offer love", Crowded house- Distant Sun
It may not seem like much, but it just seems to sum up that feeling when you don't know what someone needs or wants, maybe they are drifting apart, and all you can do is simplay say "I offer love"
"Dozens of people spontaneously combust each year, it's just not that widely reported".

"when i was a child, i caught a fleeting glimpse
out of the corner of my eye
i turned to look but it was gone
i cannot put my finger on it now
the child is grown the dream is gone."

-Pink Floyd
Comfortably Numb

"There's someone in my head byt it's not me."
-Pink Floyd
Brain Damage

The whole ending verse to Stariway to Heaven.

To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

At night on those banks I'd lie awake
and pull her close to feel each breath she'd take
now those dreams come back to haunt me
they haunt me like a curse
is a dream a lie that don't come true
or is it something worse

that sends me down to the river
though I know the river is dry
it sends me down to the river
tonight

Down to the river
my baby and I
down to the river
tonight

-Springsteen
