So hopefully there are some people out there who know who this guy is. He is a country singer/songwriter/guitarist. He's been around for a few years now on his own, he did have a band a few years ago but I forget the name, anyway. This guy is frigin awesome. He wales away on his guitar ( tele.. :D ) and he does it well. It is so nice to listen to his country stuff as opposed to....EVERYONE else these days. Keith actually writes his solos and they sound different, along with his riffs; they are new and exciting and thank god not every one of his songs has a frigin pedal steel or steel guitar in it. I heard some reports of some high up there music people saying that Keith is on his way to becoming a guitar God.

Anyone else have something to say about this guy?

Yeah I like his songs a lot. I didn't know he was t good at the guitar but his songs are awesome. Some of his songs are being played a lot more on other radio stations besides country (at least around here) which I thought was interesting.
The greatest enemy to what you can know, is what you already know.

It's not how good you play, its how well you play it.

I think Keith is a great musician and guitarist. I like his style because it's a more rocked up version of country. However most of the die hard country musicians look at his style of country the same way a lot of guitarist look at "nu" metal and call it nu country. Even with that said, I still like him no matter what anybody says. He can really burn it up on a guitar. I also like Brad Paisley a lot too. He still burnes it up on the guitar, but his style is closer to traditional country than Keith's.

Ya, the only two guys I listen to in country are Brad and Keith. I like Brad's songs a bit more than keith's. But they are both fabulous guitarists and songwriters, and singers.

I second that, keith and brad are great players of the tele, probably cuz of thier rock and roll roots...(clapton, and aerosmith).
