hello there, I'm thinking of getting into the halloween spirit and buying a cheap "scary" guitar. I cannot figure out which one to get though. I found some cheap ones, some of them with actually good features for the price here's the ones I'm considering:
numero uno (pros: string-thru, 24 frets. cons: bolt on neck, basswood body)
numero dos(pros: solid mahogany body, unique shape. cons: bolt-on neck)
numero tres (pros: solid mahogany body, maple set neck)
numero cuatro (pros: solid mahogany body, maple set neck, slightly more reputable brand, grover tuners with 18-1 ratio. cons: the body shape isn't as good as the others)
I just can't decide...
also, I understand that any of these guitars will probably need a pickup change (probably to emg's, because a guitar this scary deserves a sound that scary) and tuning key upgrade (save for the fourth one, who's grover tuners will probably be good enough)
scary guitars

key word... I don't have a billion dollars to spend here... though I must say that that skeleton thing was pretty awesome, though I kinda liked the dragon one with the 2 necks and the harp a little more... that just sounds so cool, play some sustaining chords on a harp, then play a little guitar riff over it... dude... that'd be sweet
but anyways, after going over my budget, I'm not so sure I'll be able to afford one of these things... I have a car I need to save up for... safeway really needs to start paying me more... cause right now I work my ass off for chump change, I'm doing a harder job then the checkers, and they get paid 3 times what I do!!! I do all the grunt work that nobody else wants to do... it's not necessarily hard, but it's not pleasent (cleaning bathrooms for example) whereas the checkers just stand in their checkstand all day, and just beep the things across, and handle the money... that's it... for $19/hour... and I can't be a checker till I'm 18...

glad you're looking into rondo music man. i had a very good time buying from them. all the guitars over 200 are good quality. i got one for $250 and its wonderfull.
out of those 4, the one i'd personally go for is the Agile (last) one. agile has incredible quality. its great.
and look at how thick the body on that thing is.... its gotta have good sustain. wax potted pups, sweet look..... id say that ones a winner. the white one isnt exactly "scary" tho... black might be a good bet... but you could always get it all painted up some time down the road if you want.....

I've seen a better wangcaster than that. I'll try to find the photo.

Not scary as such, but pink...
Don't worry too much about me, ignore me long enough and I'll go away.
