$1,000 in four weeks

hey all, so, I'm 16, and I'll be getting my license in about four weeks... and I found the car I want to buy, it's a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse spyder (convertible) it's soooo nice. only 69,000 miles on it. now, I was talking to my mom about it, and she said that if I had $1000 for the downpayment in 4 weeks, then we'd talk about it... so, I'm desperately trying to make this $1000... I've got about $337 right now, and my job at safeway only pays $140-$190 per week ($7.50 per hour at about 22-29 hours per week)... so I might have to put my plans of filling my pedalboard on hold :( but at least I'll get a sweet ride!!! and yeah, so there'e my story of the day. so if any of you feel like donating to the "give good ol' 6strings a car" program, please drop me a private message! lol. yeah, anyways, I have to go back to work, I'm only lunch break right now, I got another 3 1/2 hours ahead of me. yipee (unethusiasticly)

I'd either need to find an electrical socket, or buy an acoustic, and since I can't really spend any money at this point.... plus, I doubt I'd make much, my city doesn't really have any places where alot of people pass by on foot. so, instead I'm thinking of selling my boss pw-2 pwer driver, cause it's not really my type of thing, plus the OD-20 that I just got has a model that sounds exactly like it... so... yeah, and I might sell my my korg ax10g, since I don't use it anymore. that's probably like $140-ish right there... plus I'm going to go track down everyone that owes me money... that's like another $20... lol. but yeah, I think I can make this $1000 by then, hopefully... but I won't be able to spend a dime for four weeks... which is going to be tough... but I can do it... I hope...

now the terrible thing would be if I got the $1000 and then go to the dealership, and the car was already sold... but it's been sitting there since before the start of the school year (I pass the dealership everyday on my way to school) so, we'll see if it can last just four more weeks...

nah, I did a search on craigslist for that type of car... there are like 4 or 5 near me, around the same price, a little cheaper actually, but most of them had more miles, and most of them were red... and the one I want is green. there was a black one, but it had a tan covertible top... which looks ugly to have an all black car with this tan cloth top... if it were black on black, that'd look cool...
