hello, so, I decided I wanted a pedal board. but didn't want to go spend like $150 on one! so, I built my own... out of an old shelf that we had lying around, a handle, and some rubber non-skid feet for the bottom. I got 5 strips of "extreme" velcro meant for semi-permanent sticks too. all this was had for about $8. and put together in about 10 minutes. it's roughly 10" x 24" and here's some pics

That looks very similar to what I did (but cleaner). Mines 12" X 24"

Mine has a power bar on it, along with a raised up second "shelf" with all power cables and daisy chains running underneath it. Very clean looking. But I left my channel select and wah off because i like to have them at an angle.

I just ordered a boss OD20 last night. time to get to work on starting to fill this pedalboard up. (the boss PW-2 is the only pedal I have right now other then my korg multieffects, and I don't like it, it is way too fuzzy of a distortion, perhaps for playing grunge... and they said it was supposed to modeled after a marshall stack!!!) wah and delay will probably be next.

I'd suggest a Boss CH-1 chorus. I love that thing!

my list of wants includes:
distortion
overdrive
chorus
wah
delay
compressor
and a tuner (just cause I want one that's a little more accurate then the $15 korg one that I have where the needle jumps all over the place)
and I was probably going to get the boss CH-1 chorus anyway, in fact, most of the pedals I was going to get were boss, not just cause of their reputation, but because of their compact size, I wouldn't be able to fit all of those pedals if they were all line 6 or rocktron pedals!!! lol. however, digitech and ibanez make pedals about the same size, so I'm looking into them too.
