ok, so I've had my gibson for a while now, and it's coming close to that time when it needs a string change, changing out the stock ones... but I want to know what the effects might be for slightly changing gauge? will I need a truss rod adjustment for such a slight change in gauge? ok, here are the gauges of the strings that came stock:
.010 .013 .017 .026w .036w .046w - gibson brite wires - light
here's the ones I want to put on
.010 .013 .017 .030w .044w .052w - GHS boomers TNT thin-thick

That change might not make a difference since only 3 of the strings are of different gauges. But it might need a slight truss rod adjustment after that...

I know, very informative answer...haha. But I try.

I think you'll be fine.

If it does need an adjustment, it will only be slight and to get rid of a little fret buzzing (not to keep your neck from warping or suffering real damage).
