A lot of you us feel that some of our best writings (lyrics) come from casual conversation. Where just one sentence (from another person) was enough to spark an idea...
You know, Ive always been fascinated by just the little things that people add in everyday conversation, (without even knowing it) they make us think about a lot of things, as well as how we view life in its entirety. But thats how some of the best lyrics are written, very naturally, finding a way to express the emotions of not only ourselves, but of others as well. This is probably the greatest challenge for most writers, and its probaly even more challenging to express our own emotions. Half the time, we think we have gotten others figured out, we think we know how they view life, and what their overall philosophy, and it makes us feel comfortable thinking that we know almost everything about them. A lot of the most famous poets focused on one person to get them through some of their best writings, because when you love someone you wan't to include them in just about everything (including our poersonal work.) Overall, In poems/lyrics, do you find yourself writing about others instead of yourself, (because it easier, or because you find their lives more fascinating than yours?
