Ok, I hear everybody talk about how the SD JB/59 combination is so great. Well, that combo came on my Schecter Blackjack, and I don't think they compliment each other well at all. The JB is awsome! I'm actually thinking about putting one in my PRS, but the 59 just sounds small and thin in comparrison. It's just not fat like a neck pup should be IMHO. Plus they don't balance out well. JB- moderate output, 59- very low output. Compairing the 59 to the Dragon II in my PRS is like compairing a little 50 pound school girl to an elephant. The later being the Dragon. So, is something wrong with the wiring or the pup, or is that just how it sounds

Don't know about the other but you might want to take a look at the PRS HFS / vintage combo. I have them in my 24 and it is just very sexy !!

Yeah, I'm going to go up to where I bought my PRS and check out the HFS before I decide on the JB. PLus I'm going to get it set up with a 3-way toggle switch and coil taps instead of the 5-way rotary switch.

How does it sound in single coil mode?

If I do this, I believe I'm going to keep the Dragon II neck pup, because I really like it. Only thing is, it's going to look funny with an uncovered pup at the bridge and a covered pup at the neck :( . Oh well, the things we do for tone...
