Legatto ( spelling?) Anyway I'm haveing trouble making legato lines that are improved sound intresting, it always comes out sounding too linear or something like that and I can only make it intresting if i think it through slowly. HELP??

Ah wow, improv legato is not easy ****, I would say just keep trying **** out and eventually you will find what works and what doesn`t. Thts what I did I guess...just mess about in the right key, much like you would if trying to play and improv picking solo...I dont know of any other tips hey

Also listen to Allan Holdsworth. Great jazz/rock fusion legato player.
Practice 8 hours a day and God Bless you.
