otay, I didn't see any fitting boards to put this under, so I figured it was open discussion... well, I have been playing guitar for about 8 months, and people always tell me that I'm good, however, I think I could be better. I want to learn how to read music, music theory (i know absolutely none), ear training, chord construction, scale construction, and I wanna actually know what an appreggio is. somebody gave me a book consisting of about 7,400 chords, but I don't even know where to begin to start learning them all... and I wanna be able to do all this without getting lessons, cause I don't really feel like spending $80 a month to get an hour lesson every other week... plus I wanna be able to do it on my own time... so any websites/downloads/cd-roms/books/dvds/etc. you can list that you know are good would be helpful... thanks a bunch
