sorry, I'm too lazy to read through all those instructions. but I think my guitar may already be sheiled... it has some kind of adhesive foil type thing around the tone know on the underside of the pickguard. and it is grounded to my trem claw... it still produces hum though... I really have no idea whether that is sheilding or not
