ACID Pro help
Ok guys, I got ACID Pro because everyone said it was a nice program and you can do drum loops and bass with it. The only problem is I can't figure out how to do that. So any help anyone could give me (not just about drums and bass, but anything about the program, I'm completely lost in it) would be well appreciated. Thx

First of all, you have to have some drum/bass loops. Loops are short pre-recorded tracks that are usually 4-8 beats long, that when played over repeatedly sound like one long track. To use these in ACID Pro, the best thing to do is open the explorer and chopper window's. Use the explorer to find and insert the loop. Then use the chopper to insert the track repeatedly for the length of the song. Then you can use the tempo slider to adjust the tempo of the song.
Try that out, and if you have any more questions post them here, and I will try to go a little more in depth.

Hey thanks man. I'll try it out and see how it goes.
Hey, I have no idea how to use the soft synth stuff... How do I do that? and what IS it, exactly?

I've been trying to figure that out, too. I thought maybe I could add Synth to the recording, but so far I haven't figured out how...

It almost seems like you can add VST instruments or something... stuff like you could do in PowerTab or TabIt, but just midi stuff. Once again, I dunno.

I can't help you on the synth stuff. All I ever did with it was loop a drum track and record a few guitar tracks.
