Happy B-day doc!!! wow, you are more than twice as old as me... so if you are having your midlife crisis, well most people would be a porshe, or a jaguar, or BMW, but I have a feeling you'll buy a high end gibson, maybe two or three, maybe a few half stacks, but some more rack effects... you know, whatever you've always wanted, but never could afford, that's what a mid-life crisis is all about!!!

I don't know about mid-life crisis but I have an Avalon Design Vt373sp pre on back order at the moment, does that count ?

did you mean 737? I couldn't find anything on 373, but I found a Avalon VT 737SP pre/EQ/compressor on musicians friend... looks like a fine piece of eqipment, even though I'd never even heard of it before today, lol
