I'm glad I read this review...I have the GNX3 and it doesn't sound like anything that different other than USB interface as opposed to the old MIDI style connections. As far as live goes, I love my GNX3. Once you turn the output past 10 o'clock, it really burns! The sounds take on a whole new perspective. When I practice at home, I have to keep the volume relatively low, and it doesn't sound that good, especially thru headphones. But I know once I get out there live, it pulls thru. My only problem right now is I've had it for 2 or 3 years and the UP/DOWN are starting to wear out. I'll have to send it out to be repaired, and I'm not looking forward to that.
