I know the A minor pentatonic is A C D E G - five notes, I believe that by adding a sixth note it becomes the blues scale, can anyone tell me what this note would be ? Many thanks

While you're at it, play this run:

C B A C B A
G F# E G F# E
Eb D C Eb D C
A

orrrrrr (in tab form)

e|-8-7-5--8-7-5---------------------------------------------|
B|---------------8-7-5--8-7-5-------------------------------|
G|------------------------------8-7-5--8-7-5----------------|
D|---------------------------------------------7vvvvvv------|
A|-----------------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------|

Yea, In the case of A minor Pentatonic you'd add a flat fifth (D#/Eb) to make it the blues scale.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Many Thanks.
I notice it works well between E and D
E - D# - D and D - D#- E
On its own it seems to be a bit of a bummer - more thought I think......
Thanks Again
