I have heard only good things about marshall... so I pretty much want to get a marshall, my current amp is a 15 watt practice amp that constantly buzzes at medium to high volumes, and now that I'm starting to play in public (I get to play for an audience for the first time tomorrow morning, wish me luck!) the buzzing is posing a problem, I don't know which amp to get though, I was looking at different kinds of marshalls, and the AVT150H combined with a AVT 412 cab looks like a pretty good combo... but I don't know, I really want an amp that can have some good moderate overdrive, but still have the potential for heavy metal, the AVT150H has 2 over drive channels, so I was thinking that it would probably be what I am looking for, but price wise it is a little high, I really want a quality professional sound, would this be the best way to go, or do you have some other suggestions?
