Your not going to believe me but ive been playing guitar for eight years and i still dont know how to properly change my strings. :D I had a few guitar teachers for the first few years and they usually did it for me. after that i either whent for a long, LONG time without changing them or i just did it withought knowing what i was actually doing. I just want to know once and for all, step by step how you guys thing the best way to do it is . Thanks. Oh yah and should i take all the strings off at the same time or one at a time as im putting the new ones on. I have an American Fender Strat.

ive tried this method before but after i get the string through, bend it, then loop it under, i start winding and the string eventually unwids itself and gets loose again.

You gotta stretch the sting as you're installing it.
When I'm installing a string I'm constantly pulling up on it at the bridge and stretching it with extreme bends to tighten it up.
