Personally,I would go for the pod xt for recording applications and it will coax a decent sound from the marshall 15.

Try once,fail twice...

I already have a digital recorder so im thinkin' it would be a better idea to get a spider.

go for the Spyder .... it'll definitely serve you better if you've already got recording devices
