Thats weird...Your 006 should be just fine...explain in detail why its not good for death/black metal.Does it just play like crap or does it lack tone/sound for the heavy distortion(which I would be surprised by since it has a JB/59 configuration)?

Also, DONT buy a cort katana(well go ahead if you want)...the bridge,humbuckers and overall appearance isn't as good(in my opinion)AND its around the same price so you wouldn't need to save anyway...though I really dont think that katana would out perform the blackjack 006 since the hardware on the schecter is better.

I play technical death metal and find the JB/59 configuration to be awsome.
