I basically have the same post going on over at "the gear pages" forum and have gotten some amazing pics! As soon as their server is back up, I'll post some of the pics over here in this thread.

I guess what started this whole goldtop tele was a good while ago when I was testing out some chorus pedal, a tele was sitting next to the amp so I played it, and fell in love. Plus, I've alway's loved a goldtop guitar. Plus I've alway's wanted to build a custom guitar to MY specs. So.........this is where we are now :D

I might would, but I've already got a black guitar, and I'm also not a big fan of gold hardware. That really is a sweet looking guitar though!

God I love Tele's. I go into a music store, I'll start off playing a Tele, go to something else, and then before I leave I'll play another Tele. Every Tele I play seems to play awesome. I bought an Epiphone Les Paul a while back and now I'm selling it. Just doesn't feel right. I'm gonna put a Bigsby on my already tricked out Tele, then buy a Nashville Tele..throw some Custom Shop Texas pups in, then buy one more Tele as a backup. Can't go wrong with a Tele.

I just want something totaly different from what I already have. The PRS and Schecter give me all the humbucking sounds I'll ever need from vintage to modern. Now I want some single coil spank. I'm also contemplating the idea of a chambered body. Any experience with a Tele with a chambered or hollow body?

I've played a fwe of those Tele Thinlines. I don't like the '69...to me with the hollow body and single coils..its just lacking punch..I find its way to dead. The '72 with humbuckers is very sweet. I am not partial to singles or hums..I just use what is right for the job. But ya, thats my opinion on those 2.

so the solid bodies produce a fatter, punchier sound?
