Are there any SRV songs that wouldn't take a speed demon to learn?? I love SRV but everything he does is waaay too fast for my fingers to ever accomplish. I usually chug along at a BB pace. Anybody know a slow or easy SRV song?

When playing SRV's songs, its worth it to take the time and effort to learn his songs piece by piece, learn to dissect them properly. Its one thing to be able to play his moderate paced blues progressions, but if you have learened anything at all from SRV its how to improvise and work around changes. Just take one fast or slow lick from his arsenal and add some of your own techniques to it, and in no time with a strong level of enthusiasm you should be playing your favorite SVR tracks with more ease.

Gotta agree, The Sky Is Crying isn't too fast paced, but there's still a lot to learn. By the way, is an oxymoron an idiot who can weld???
