is it possible, or feasable to try to switch a floyd rose bridge to a tune-o-matic or bridge. i hate the hassle of a floyd rose and i want to see if putting a new bridge in is something that can be done.

Yup, it can be done.
I'm not sure if every guitar-tech knows how to do this though.
All I know is that it can be done, hehe.

*There IS a way to drop in a new set of strings on a Rose in about 5 minutes.......Get some cutters, use a T handle Allen head, use your palm to bend the tremelo down while usin' the T-handle.....Ditch your stock set of tuners and put some Sperzels on.....MOST importantly, have a back-up guitar ready to go so ya don't have to screw with the Rose in between breaks or on stage......No big deal.....
*Turn the bastard up and see what happenz.... :D
