In this tutorial we'll explore one of the most important accessories you can use with your acoustic guitar, which is called a capo. I personally don't go anywhere one and I use it all the time in a variety of different ways that I'm going to show you today. We'll explore how to use the capo to change the key of your open chords, which is useful if someone needs the song in a different key and you don't want to worry about transposing your chord progression to another key or using awkward barre-chords. I'll also show you how to use a combination of your capo and transposing to play the same chord progression in a higher register and we'll talk about how to use that trick to come up with a complimentary part for when you're lucky enough to play with another guitar player, which is a ton of fun.
