Hi, I'm Caren Armstrong and this is a lesson on playing arpeggios by fingerpicking on an acoustic guitar.

Today we'll be learning a fingerpicking technique call the arpeggio. We'll be playing in 3 / 4 or waltz time. The arpeggio is a beautiful, rippling fingerpick, suitable for many ballads and traditional songs. Enhance your playing by adding fingerpicking to your skills! We'll use one chord, a G major chord. And we'll arpeggiate it.
