Now let's continue our open position major scale on the D string as well. In the previous lesson, we went from our top note in the 3rd fret of the high E string and then all the way down to the open G string.

Now let's continue after that onto the D string, by going 3rd fret with our ring finger, 2nd fret with our middle finger, and the open D string.

Again, make sure you're starting at the top with a downstroke, and then using alternate picking all the way down.
