Description

After the first chorus comes another verse where you just play the same riff, but you double the first part, and then another chorus before we go into the interlude section with the clean guitar.

This half-time section with clean chorus guitar and some subtle acoustic strumming really adds some nice dynamics to this song.

In the studio version, this part is played in standard tuning, which of course isn't very convenient to play live since you wouldn't have time to tune up. I'll show you how this part is on the original recording, but if you play it live, you will have to adapt it to fit Drop D tuning. This part was most likely improvised in the studio, and you don't have to play the exact same patterns as long as the chords are right. The easiest way to adapt this part to Drop D tuning is to just skip the bass notes. You can't really hear that much of them anyway when the drums and the bass are playing.
