Now that you have learned the basic chords and voicings, it's time to break down a mini-song form that incorporates everything we've learned so far. We'll break down and practice one section at a time, and then we will play through the whole form with the backing track. The form is as follows:

I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial and have realized that tone you use and the notes you choose to play often go hand in hand when you're playing rock. This concept is not limited to the chord voicings we covered in this tutorial- it's something you always have to be aware of, whether to adapt the tone to the part you're playing or adapt the part to the tone. We'll talk much more about that as we go on!
