Description
This piece is divided into four sections, 8 measures a piece. This lesson focuses on the 1st section. There are only two chords: an E minor (i) and a B7 (V7). There are two basic left hand positions to get used to. There are some ornamental notes added also.
The primary focus here is to get your right hand fingerpicking coordinated so you can play smoothly through those two chords. Go slow and evenly. Gradually speed up only after you can pluck all the notes with the right fingers cleanly, clearly and evenly.
When you have the notes under your fingers, then add some dynamics for variety.
