I’m using a Super Strat style guitar set for the bridge pickup to play this song, but any electric guitar can be used.

As far as amps go, any Marshall style tube amp is a great choice. Set up the amp for an overdriven crunch sound. Set the Drive to 90%, Bass to 50%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.

Both guitars use an overdrive or distortion pedal in front of the amp for more gain and crunch. Guitar 2 uses a wah and digital delay for a heavily effected sound in the solo. The phrasing in the solo makes use of an 8th note delay in sync with the track to carry the last note/strum of the phrase repeating through the next bar.

I’m using 10-46 gage with a heavy pick to dig into these massive riffs and licks.

Here are the settings I used:

Marshall JCM 800 Model:
Drive: 90% Bass: 50% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 60%
Tube Screamer (Guitar 1,2):
Gain: 75% Tone: 75% Level: 75%
Digital Delay (Guitar 2):
Time: TBD Feedback: 60% WetDryMIX: 40%-75%
