For the electric, I’m using a Stratocaster with both the bridge and middle pickup selected for a thin, phasey clean sound.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set the amp for a clean sound. Set the Drive to 25%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.

For Guitar 2, kick in a distortion or overdrive to give a thick crunch sound perfect for leads. Guitar 2 also uses digital delay for a dreamy sound. Add some hall reverb to both guitars for a big sound.

I’m using 10-46 gage with a heavy pick to dig right into these strums and licks.

Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 35% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 60%
Tube Screamer (Guitar 2):
Gain: 95% Tone: 55% Level: 75%
Digital Delay (Guitar 2):
Time: 385ms Feedback: 45% Wet/DryMIX: 40%
Hall Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 40%
