I’m using a Telecaster style guitar set to the bridge pickup, but any guitar is suitable. The tones have more to do with the amp and effects choices.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set the amp for a light crunch sound. Set the Drive to 50%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.

The rhythm guitars also use an overdrive pedal in front of the amp for more of a grungy, slightly fuzzy tone.

For the lead guitar, kick in a Tube Screamer for a higher gain, sustained tone. This guitar also uses an Octaver effect in the guitar solo, and a Wah Wah in the outro for some distinct lead tones. Use reverb on both guitars for depth.

I’m using 10-46 gage and with a heavy pick with both guitars.

Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 50% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 60%
Blues Driver (Guitars 1&2):
Drive: 50% Level: 65%
Tube Screamer (Guitar 3):
Drive: 75% Tone: 70% Level: 60%
Octaver (Guitar 3)
Reverb: WetDryMIX: 35%
