A semi-hollowbody electric guitar is the authentic choice to play this tune. Choose the neck pickup for Guitar 1 to get a thick full tone. Choose the bridge pickup for for Guitar 2 to get more bite and clarity.

As far as amps go, any Vox style tube combo amplifier is a perfect choice. Setup the amp for a gritty clean-on-the-edge-of-breakup sound. Set the Drive to 40%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.

Guitar 1 uses a Tremolo effect to add a cool texture to the arrangement. Add some reverb to both guitars for depth.

I used a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig into the rhythms and leads.

Here are the settings I used:

Vox AC15 Model:
Drive: 40% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 65%
Tremolo (Guitar 1):
Intensity: 45% Rate: 60%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 35%
