Mike will show you the 2 guitar layers in this song. Both guitars use a crunch sound with Guitar 1 playing rhythm and Guitar 2 playing lead throughout.

The song opens with a basic rock boogie that recalls the early blues and rock that The Who was influenced by. The verse kicks in with a mostly classic I IV V blues progression. There’s also a bridge sectoin with some big chord accents and some low dynamic arpeggiations that build back into the verse groove.

In the following lessons, we’ll talk about a basic boogie rhythm, a I IV V progression, dynamics, chord arpeggiations, and some killer rock lead approaches. We are in the key of A major, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 130 BPM.
