Guitar Delay Orchestra

In this lesson we’ll look at how May was able to imitate his guitar
orchestration in real-time, live performance using a delay effect
with two distinct repeats.

The trick here is to use a long enough delay time to account for
playing a melodically interesting phrase, scale segment or
arpeggio. Then carefully selecting the notes so that the repeats
with be a harmony by the time you get to the next phrase!

May also often used to use stereo panning to further accentuate this
effect. The first dry signal would be center, the first repeat left, the
second repeat right.
