The lead guitar will play a really interesting melodic riff going along with the chord progression. We'll learn one pattern and just move that same pattern between the three chords in the chorus. First I'm going A, G, and F#, then we're going to hammer on twice between C and C#. Notice that you should come in on the "and" of 1 as well. Then we simply take that same pattern and move it up to C and D as the chords move along.

In the turnaround for the first and last chorus we're also going to play a little chromatic figure. Again, a very blues influenced sound, just playing the major 3rd and tonic of D, D#, and E.
