Now we're going to take a look at what's going on with guitar 1 during the chorus. As we go through the progression, notice that the strumming pattern is different here. This is very interesting as it gives the part a more "open" feel.

Really try to relax your right hand. There's a lot of strumming in this song, and in this part in particular it's important that it sounds effortless when you strum.
