Description

In the previous lesson we explored what it sounded like when we combined one of our meat 'n' potato licks with several of the different interval sounds. Now let's try that out again, but this time we'll use two licks and just one of the intervals.

I hope this tutorial has given you a solid understanding of how these intervals can be used in a rock soloing context. There may be certain intervals that you really like the sound of, and those may eventually become part of the standard vocabulary that you use more or less every time you solo.

But for me the intervals work really well as that extra exotic "spice" you throw in once in a while to change it up. There's no limit to how far you can take each of these sounds, so if there's one you really like, make sure to explore it some more on your own. Have fun with it!
