A Strat style guitar is the ideal choice for this song, but any guitar with single coil pickups will get a close approximation of the tone.

As far as amps go, any low wattage tube amp cranked up will give the desired sound. Guitars 1 and 3 use more of a crunch tone, while guitar 2 is set cleaner. Guitar 3 also uses a tube delay to give the leads a more psychedelic bluesy vibe. Spring reverb should be used on all guitars to add some depth. Check out the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model: Drive: 75% Bass: 50% Mid: 70% High: 60% Presence: 70% (Guitars 1 and 3, set Drive for 100%)

Spring Reverb: Wet/DryMIX: 30%

Tube Echo (Guitar 3): Time: 517ms Feedback: 45% Wet/DryMIX: 30%
