Description

When we first started out with the lead playing we looked at the major scale and took it one step at a time, going up and down the notes in the scale. Now we're going to explore the relationship between the different notes in the scale; for example, what it sounds like when you jump from the 1st note to the 4th, or from the 1st note to the 6th.

The relationships between the notes are called intervals, and each of these intervals has a certain sound and is used in different ways. In this tutorial we'll explore some of the most common intervals used in guitar in rock soloing, so let's get started!
