Warm-up Exercise Playalong, Level 3

In this Level-1 lesson, we'll do the 'Spider Legs' finger warm-up exercise using all 4 fingers of the left hand.

We'll start the exercise at the LOW E string and work our way up to the high E string.

This will increase the challenge level of the exercise as regards stretch, strength, and positioning.

We'll start out slow, then move on to a faster pace.

Work at whichever pace is the best fit for you at this time.

Remember, this exercise trains your hand in proper positioning.

It is virtually impossible to do if your hand is not well-positioned.

You are also developing stretch, strength, flexibility, coordination, and aim.

Not bad for one little exercise, eh?

Just by doing the exercise along with me, you are training your hand's Muscle Memory to get used to these new skills and make them your habit.

Remember, repeat this exercise several times over with me before moving on to Segment 3.
