First let's talk a little bit about the gear and tone that I'll be using for this song, but always remember that you can play almost any song on almost any piece of gear- especially when it comes to the blues! I always say that 90% of the tone is in the attitude and the last 10% comes from things you don't do. So play forcefully and with conviction- like you mean every note, and then don't add a ton of distortion or other effects. Keep it clean and raw!

I'll be playing my Gibson 335 on the bridge pickup for all the lead parts, and I'll be running it through a modeled Fender amp with some reverb. I have the volume turned up so loud that it breaks up quite a bit, and then I turn down the guitar volume to clean it up.

For the rhythm guitar, I'm using the same basic settings, but on the middle pickup position and with the volume of the amp turned down, so I get a cleaner tone.
