In our final lesson, we'll look at using one-string patterns in your "Metallica" style soloing. I'll use the phrygian dominant scale to demonstrate. This scale comes from the harmonic minor scale, starting on the fifth step; the scale degrees are 1-b2-maj3-4-5-b6-b7-1.
